The Club meets each Monday from September to May at the Methodist Church Hall, Palace Avenue, Paignton, Devon at the rear of Palace Avenue). Meetings start at 7.30, with the night’s event lasting two hours or so with a break for tea or coffee.
We are a friendly club providing plenty of help and advice for all our members, with practical evenings, competitions and opportunities to review the work of visiting photographers
During the season we cover a wide range of subjects with visiting speakers and judges, practical nights, and competitions. We aim to promote photography by encouraging members (purely optional) to show work to review groups for assessment, and to enter club competitions which are assessed by outside judges.
Most of our members enjoy entering our competitions but we also encourage them to go for a greater challenge by entering some of the Regional, National and International Exhibitions. We would like to see members push their photography further and progress to working towards gaining distinctions.
If you are you interested in improving your photography - whether prints, audio/visual, or digital - we can help you with

In addition, the club offers a £10 e-membership category for members who have moved out of the area but who would still like to be part of the club and enter digital competitions.
